Broken To Flower

'You'll never find all the pieces,' the monitor mocked.  Anxiety filled her for a moment, then calm.  'I don't need to,' she said to herself.  'If my foundation was strong to begin with, I never would have broken.  I will rebuild myself, discarding some pieces and adding new ones, building a strong base to go forward in life.  I will build a house from listening to myself, my intuitions and instincts, instead of trying to fit the mould of what others would have me be.  The way lives inside me'  And she did, for sometimes we have to break, to shed old ways and assumptions, in order to progress and grow stronger.  The death of one self to give rise to the birth of another.
